I entered a 1099-INT. TurboTax didn't ask me for the Payor's address. On the 1040 itself, TurboTax entered it completely incorrectly, combining my address with the Payor's address. It does not let me edit this to correct it. Is there a way to do that? There is no way in the regular questionnaire process to do it.
You can manually edit your Form 1099-INT address, if you are using TurboTax Desktop by switching to "Forms Mode". TurboTax does not request the payor's address when you are entering your Form 1099-Int into the program.

At the bottom of your 1099-Int you will see this box:

Thank you, but unfortunately I was using the web version. So there was no way to get to the 1040. I deleted the 1099-INT, which was the source of the error and re-entered it manually. But when entering it manually, I was not asked for the payor’s address or tax ID, and so that is all blank on the 1040. I’m really surprised that TurboTax has such a glaring error this year with no way to fix it if using the web version. Hopefully this will not cause a problem with my filing, but Intuit will certainly hear about it if it does. Anyway, I have learned my lesson never to use the web version again, but even though I have been using TurboTax for over 30 years, I am hesitant to use it again after this.
The payer's address and TIN are not required to be added to the tax return for a Form 1099-INT. You can just enter the name and amount from box 1 or any other related boxes and TurboTax will add the income to the right spot on the 1040.
