This is my second tax season filing with turbo tax and it's been nerve racking. I filed my taxes 1/25 and it was accepted by the IRS 1/26. A few days later it was approved and processed and said I should receive it in my bank account 2/7. I filed married joint and I don't have any dependents and elected for turbo tax to deduct the fees for the full service from my tax return. This is where SBTPG comes into play because before I can receive the refund to my bank they have to deduct the fees for the full service. It is 2/24 and I still haven't received my refund. It shouldn't be this unorganized. Over the course of the weeks it's been finger pointing. What I know for sure is the irs sent out the funds to SBTPG and there saying that they haven't received funding from the irs. It's already hard enough to contact the IRS but when I did the representative showed me where I could see on my transcript where the issue the funds to SBTPG. The IRS did a trace and I found out yesterday that it was sent to SBTPG. SBTPG website has been so unreliable with constant glitches and lack of communication. It's just saying unfunded when that's not true. Contacting a representative with SBTPG is like playing the lottery you'll be grateful to get someone and all they recommended was to wait I have been waiting long enough. At this point TurboTax needs to act on my behalf due to it being a third party they use so I can get this issue resolved. I'm seeing everyone else with recent DDD and I still haven't received my refund. Can someone please assist me?Ā

I e-filed mine on 1/19 and got the approval of the federal and state on 1/27 I was supposed to get it on 2/19 or 2/21 which would be 21 days as expected but itās been over a month, I called the IRS every single day choosing English and Spanish to see if someone could respond my call and the voicemail said in both languages ādue to high volume of calls they canāt attend to mineā.

I was trying to check the status on its website and it canāt show my information. How can it be possible my brother got it at once and some people I know while I havenāt got it yet? And how knows if the tax season is ending while I donāt have anything yet, Itās unfair and unacceptable.
This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update and show the status. The 21 days is just an estimated time frame. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated.
Since Turbo Tax will not have the status of your refund, continue checking the Whereās My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

Thank you, it shows that it was sent on the 22nd but nothing in my account. I checked the SBTPG website and it shows unfunded. this is so frustrating
If it was sent over to TPG, you will need to wait for TPG to release the funds, and they will provide a direct deposit date once they do. @Sarah87

And then irs accepted it on 31 and it was sent to my bank on February 8 but I had fees so its went to stpg and they said the same thing this is crazy im going to different tax company next year I should of had my refund by now
Nope I have not and have tried to call stpg and then irs and the call gets hanged up on or its to busy from the irs and mine still says unfunded even after the update on the 24th
Same except I got a hold of the IRS and they stated they sent it to SBTPG and last option would be to do a (trace) meaning they trace they amount if it wasn't spent they'll get it back and resend it . That process can take 120 days at the most. I tried call SBTPG and I was on the phone for 2 and half hours and it hung up. I was going to give it until Tuesday morning if I don't Ā receive it I'll just have to do that trace. Just very unfortunate we fell through the cracks like that. SorryĀ @SForrestLOĀ but the system doesnāt show me information of the status yet and Iām very conscious about putting the correct information even using the system overnight, I called IRS again and they couldnāt take my call.
Same here I can't believe this and I don't mean to add any anxiety I know how it feels to get an email and it's not one with an update . I submitted a ticket with TPG two weeks ago they finally responded on the 25th saying "CASE IS BEING RESEARCHED FURTHER"
Ya I sent them couple days back all they can tell me they dont have it and check with the irs to see if they sent it i was like they sent it on the 8th of February and I know the irs wont lie about sending the funds @Tmartin23Ā
Yeah the irs has no reason to lie especially since it's on the transcripts. I really believe TPG has some major system issues.Ā

Hey so update I was able to get into contact with TPG. They stated since I went through TurboTax their system generated two accounts by accident Ā and that's what happened in my case. The representative stated they have my refund from the irs but can't Ā issue it out because of the two generated accounts one shows funded and the other doesn't. That's why on the website it say unfunded. I asked why the previous representatives kept directing me to the IRS she stated because the didn't look at both accounts. The representative said many people are having this issue and they are aware of the problem. They don't know when the issue will get fixed. I asked is there anything I could do she said no because it's a issue they have to resolve with their system. So I'm playing the waiting game I hope it gets resolved they had my refund since 2/7.Ā @Cagex11Ā
