The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.

The 15th and 16th were the weekend and the 17th was a holiday. They just started looking at them yesterday.

Refunds wont begin to be deposited intil next week. I called the IRS and they told me that a LARGE amount of filers with EIC and dependents will get dates of the 28th and the 2nd. However all articles seem to always say a week longwr than what happens every year. I think they do that to give a little extra time to civer delays. Ive been doing my taxea wkth dependents on turbo tax for 10 years. Since they started this Feb 15th tule, I have gotten my return deposited on yhe 22nd every year since 2016. This year is a little diff because of the 15th being onna holiday. I would guess teturn dares would begin on the 24th.

Per the IRS Refund Timing page, the IRS expects the first EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Where’s My Refund? will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. Please see the below TurboTax FAQ for more information on the Path Act:
