Has anyone with EIC refund been approved yet and on what date?

A law that was passed in 2015 stated beginning January 2017 ALL returns claiming the EITC and/or the ACTC would be held until February 15th and they do not expect refunds to roll out until the week of February 27th.

Bottom line is the longer the irs hold onto our money the more interest in that money they can put into their pockets instead of ours. Its 2017 and the gov. Can get those refunds sent in 2 to 3 days. No need for the 21 day wait.that's for their benefit,period. Sitting in their accounts accumulating interest for them.

Hi.  I filed on 1/30/17 with EIC and ACTC, got the generic email that it was "accepted" on 1/31/17, was shown as processing yesterday, and just got a DD for 2/22/17. Hope that helps.
