No.   You cannot enter past year W-2's on next year's tax return.   You are not permitted to mix up the income you received for different years on the same tax return.

 

If the W-2 you found is for 2023, you need to amend your 2023 tax return.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

when you say 2024 taxes you mean the 2023 tax return

and when you say 2025 taxes you mean your 2024 tax return.

 

it is not possible to do a 2025 tax return.
