Form 8949

Even though form 8949 was included in the forms that were e-filed, do I still need to mail form 8456 with form 8949 attached to the IRS?  If the answer is yes, do I simply print out the 8949 from in TurboTax?

If you reported your investment sales by category total and didn't upload a PDF copy of your 1099-B, then you need to print Form 8456 and mail it, along with a copy of your 1099-B to the IRS.  If you entered (or downloaded) each individual transaction then you don't need to mail anything.
