Form 8453

With Form 8453, do I send Form 8949 and Schedule D or Form 1099-B?

Send just Form 1099-B with the 8453.

Here is the best way to get to this area in TurboTax:

  1. Sign into your TurboTax account
  2. Click on Search in the upper right corner next to the magnifying glass
  3. Type 1099B
  4. Click the Jump To link in the search results
  5. Click Add/Edit

Form 1099-B is mailed to you by your broker/dealer.  If you do not have a copy of your Form 1099-B, you can probably go online and download and print  a copy.
