FORM 1098 T mistake?

Hi I just filed my return and I noticed that when taking an education credit for my daughter that I accidentally entered the zip code for the college with the wrong last digit by 1 number ( a one instead of a 2 but that is still a valid zip code for the  town the college is in) from form 1098-T.  The employer ID number was still correct as was all other information. Is this going to cause a problem with getting this credit or on my return generally? The software did not reject the zip code or state when i entered it. I did get a message back that my e-return was accepted by the IRS.

Thanks

It depends, but not likely.  At the most, if you get a notice from the IRS from their matching program, you can respond with a letter to inform them of the mistake.

There are no numbers on your tax return to amend, so I would not suggest preparing an amended return for this minor oversight.
