My 2020 e-file return was rejected due to a 2019 AGI error. I received an email from TurboTax but there is no link to "fix my return" in the email, nor can I find "fix my return" anywhere else.
I have the error code, and the correct AGI but I need to find and open "fix my return" and then refile the return. Please help.
Log back into your return. You will a button that says Fix My return.
Once you select that button, the program will walk you through the steps or ask for the information needed to fix your return.

When I log into my Turbo Tax Premier and open my return there is no button that says Fix My Return. Am I looking in the wrong place? I e-filed on 2/19, the file was rejected by IRS due to "the primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN form last year does not match IRS records."
How can I fix this?

You do have the option of filing by mail, but it may be worth time to see if you can fix it. The following will provide some guidance on the AGI for 2019.

If you did get an action required email and you don't have the 'Fix my return' as described in the email you may need to contact support.
replace PLAYERS Federal identification number 34-0727612
Make sure and enter the employers name and EIN as it appears on the W-2. The IRS does matching by the employer EIN and the first 4 letters of the company name to insure it is not a fraudulent W-2. If there is a mismatch, your return will be rejected.

I have logged in to my account and opened the tax return in question that was rejected (IND-031-04). There is no "Fix my return" button shown. I verified by looking over the 2019 return and the AGI is correct. The. only possible error is that I typed in the wrong PIN. I know the correct PIN, so I just need to change it and resubmit. HOW DO I CHANGE IT??!!
Open the return and go through the filing steps again. You will be prompted to enter last year's pin or agi - you don't need both of them - only one of them. When you are in your return, click on FILE from the left panel menu. @Willgbeck

@patbillsloan No one else can see your screen or your tax return. We cannot help unless we understand what is going on. What problem are you having? What are you trying to fix?
I can't file my return because because it says something different between State and Fed. and I don't understand it
@patbillsloan I looked at your previous posts. You mentioned that you do not have W-2's. Did you enter something on your federal return in the W-2 section of the software----or did you say in that section that you do not have any W-2's? What income did you enter----and where did you enter it?
