Filing an amended return the signature date keeps changing

ALL amended returns MUST be printed and ink signed ... in the FILE tab choose to mail in the return.  If this is for a 2019 return the 1040X will not be operational until 2/12 so you will need to wait.  Also you should not mail in the amended return until your original return has fully processed and you have either paid the original balance due or  received the refund. 

Thanks for your reply, however; my New York State amended return says they prefer it to be e-filed.  The date says it has to say On or before 12-1-2019, if I enter that, then it changes to saying the date has to be on or after today.  I put that in and it goes back to the 2019 request.
