File amendment for tiny amount 1099-R

Hi,

I have received an 1099-R form after I filed my 2023 tax return. The 2a box has Taxable amount $0.06. I guess it is from a Roth distribution as I see box 5 has $1xxx.xx and box 7 has G.

my question is: do I have to file an extension for this 1099-R? The amount is so negligible.

do not file an amended return for 6 cents. if you round on your return that becomes zero. even if you don't, the IRS is not going to come after you for the income taxes on 6 cents
