So my taxes got accepted on the 27th. But when I try to track my refund it says that I didn’t enter the correct information when I did so what’s going on?

You have to enter the whole dollar amount example,  1,000 be sure to put the comma in there and double check you social security number and filing status (single, married filed joint, exc.)

Tip: If you see the message You may not have entered your information correctly, select the Re-Enter button to try again. In particular, make sure you enter your exact federal refund dollar amount. For the tax year 2019, you can get this number from line 20 on Form 1040.

For tax years 2017 and earlier, you can get this number from:

  • Line 76a (Form 1040);
  • Line 48a (Form 1040A); or
  • Line 13a (Form 1040EZ).
