Direct deposit sent to wrong account.

My refund was deposited to an account that wasn't mine at my bank of February 9th. My bank returned that deposit to the IRS. Does anyone know how long it takes the return in the mail from the IRS after this?

There is no definite answer---expect it to take at least three extra weeks--maybe longer.  The IRS is very backlogged and we cannot predict how long they will take to mail your check.
