Deposit returned to depositors

My deposit was returned back to the depositor due to my middle and last name being on my bank account instead of my first and last name. Is there anyway I can confirm or verify that it’s my account so that it can be deposit?

Are you talking about the deposit of your federal income tax refund? When the IRS sees that your bank rejected the deposit, they will mail you a paper check for the refund. They will not resend the direct deposit. It will take a few weeks for the check to be mailed.

It was your bank that sent the deposit back to the IRS because of the mismatched names. The IRS does not control what the bank does. It's too late for you to do anything about it. The deposit has already been sent back to the IRS, and they will not try to deposit it again.
