If your tax return was rejected when you tried to e-file, or if you did not go all the way through the file section yourself and click that big orange button that said "Transmit my return now" then your return was not filed.  It is far too late to e-file a 2018 return now.  E-filing for 2018 returns is permanently closed.  You will have to print, sign and mail the return.

Did you pay your TurboTax fees?  You have to pay in order to print the returns.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS and/or your state received the return.

TurboTax cannot email or mail your tax return to you.  You can download the PDF of the return yourself.

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...

I got a new computer. I re-installed Turbo Tax 2018 from my CD to my new computer. The program only allowed me to download one state, which I did.    However in 2018, I lived in 2 states (moved in Sep. 2018) I also own rental property in another state.   In 2018, I paid for downloading 2 states and one was free.  I need to reinstall the other 2 states in order to open the file in the new computer.  When I try to open the file in the new computer, it asks me to Download the other 2 states and it requires paying all over again. According to the agent I spoke to this afternoon, I should NOT  have to pay again only to move my files to a new computer.?

Why CAN I be able to move my file without paying twice for the same software?

need help

You have to first update the federal program before you can download the state program. Go to menu item > Online > then Check for Updates.   After you update then close the program and reopen it.  Then open your return and click on the State tab.

How to download the state program in Windows…..

Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax

Or use this phone number and select TurboTax - 1-800-4-INTUIT (1-800-446-8848)

Complaining to the IRS will not help.  They do not have anything to do with a public companies service department.
