If you have already filed and submitted your tax return you will be unable to edit the bank account information (as well as the direct deposit options) once the return has been accepted.
If your return has been filed and submitted and rejected then you are able to change the information.
To view/edit your information, follow these steps…
If the IRS is unable to deposit your refund into your account, they will mail you a refund check. If the info you entered is someone else's account, don't worry – some banks won't deposit tax refunds into accounts where names don't match up. The best way for you to track your federal refund is to call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.

My tax return was sent yesterday but is not showing in my account as pending help
It can take up to 5 business days for your bank to deposit your tax return into your account. If the status in Where’s My Refund? shows “Refund Sent”, the IRS has sent your tax refund to your bank for direct deposit. If you don't receive it in after 5 business days, then you should contact your bank.
And those of us who have used you for years never changed banks and now for year two our refund is being mailed not direct deposited? I should not have to pay all your fees if I’m not getting what I paid for. I would like for y'all to go on my 2019 taxes that I filed last year my current bank account is on my 2019 taxes
Please clarify your question or request. What exactly is the problem? Please provide as many details as possible.
I just filed my 2019 taxes. I'm not getting a refund back, and owe $211. It did ask me for my direct deposit info, in which I entered..it also asked me for a payment account to enter to pay the $211 on a set date...the question is where are they gonna send my stimulus check? Because when I reviewed my tax form after it was accepted, it doesn't show my direct deposit info...I just shows XXXXX. So are they gonna send my stimulus check to the payment account or???
The IRS will deposit your stimulus check to the bank account that you have listed. TurboTax shows XXXX on all direct deposit information for your protection and privacy.
