Card

I got a new turbo tax card in the mail and went to activate it and it says the card can’t be activated. My money is on the card but I can’t touch it. How can I reach out to someone about getting this fixed..

They always say there’s nothing they can do about it. They won’t reissue me a card or anything. I never activated the card so I don’t know how the birthday is wrong. If the irs issued my money and everything was right why can’t I touch my money on the card?

The only other option is to report the Card Not Received on the page. You can also contact customer care at 

(888) 285-4169, don't choose option 2, it will repeat a few times then you will get more options. 

 

You can check your tax return to see if your bday was input correctly.

Here's how to get in to see what you selected.

  1. Open your return if it's not already open. 

  2. On the Tax Home screen with the amount of your refund and status, scroll down and select Add a State (don't worry, we're not adding a state) to access your tax forms and worksheets. 

  3. In the left menu, select Tax Tools then Print Center. 

  4. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year's return. 

  5. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2019 federal returns and Include Government and TurboTax Worksheets (optional), then select View or Print Forms. 

  6. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2019 Federal Tax Return next to Balance Due/Refund.
