If you don't see any information on the IRS tracker, it's because your return has not been processed yet. Don't worry-just continue to check the tracker on a daily basis-the information is updated every 24 hours. You can also call the IRS by phone to check the status if it has been more than 21 days since the return was accepted.

IRS app says my information is incorrect...but I put right info
Same thing here filed on Jan 2, 2020 return transmitted Jan 13, 2020 and still in pending on TT and cannot find me on WMR. Filing HOH with ctc.
I did my brothers same day, transmitted same day his federal was excepted Jan 14, and WMR confirms refund date for DD on 1/29. He filed Single no EITC or CTC.
Don't worry yet IRS just opened and they are processing backlog give it 48 hours or so.
There are a few reasons why this has happened. Please view the following help article for a list of reasons.
My Tax Return was accepted on the 13th and I'm still not about to track on the IRS website, or the IRS hotline. Sigh. What's the deal?
@Theisaacguy The IRS issues refunds, not TurboTax. This means that we can't say for sure why you haven’t received your refund as of yet. There's no way to know when the IRS will update your status.
If after 21 days of being accepted, you have not received an update via the Where's My Refund tool, you can follow the instructions in the following FAQ to contact the IRS for further assistance.
Otherwise, as your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund? tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.
Same here and my info is correct. Tried calling IRS but it says that calls cannot be completed at this time.
I can’t track my refund I’ve been putting all the right information. Over and over again

That IRS "Where's My Refund" tool has been squirrelly at times this year. But you do need to be sure you are using it correctly.
First, if you efiled, double-check that your efiled returns were indeed accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, log in and go to the Tax Home and check the efile status.
If you filed on paper by mail, then it can take at least 3 weeks up to several weeks for it to appear in the WMR tool.
Here are some tips when using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool:
You can also try phoning the IRS refund hotline. I've seen it work for some users when the WMR tool didn't. 800-829-1954
My refund tracker has disappeared the day before my funds were to be released and doesn’t show anything in any of my accounts
I tracked my refund on credit karma and the tracker has completely disappeared
@Louiebadass Not sure where you got the information that it is the day before the funds are to be released---did you get that information from the IRS refund site or are you basing that on the estimated date you got from TurboTax when you e-filed? The date given to you by TT is nothing more than an estimated date that you cannot count on especially now that the IRS is severely backlogged.
If your refund date came from the IRS site, then give it a few days. Sometimes as the return moves through the "pipeline" it disappears temporarily from the refund site. And....remember that even after the IRS issues your refund you need to allow 1-5 days for it to post to your account.
I have been able to check my refund up until today
Now it says my information is incorrect. Why is this happening?
@Kspadling 35 Sometimes as the returns transitions from one stage of processing to another stage, the information is temporarily unavailable on the IRS site. Just wait a day or two and check again.
Are you seeing this message on the IRS Where's My Refund site?
When you are trying to track the status of your tax refund and you see the message You may not have entered your information correctly, select the Re-Enter button to try again. You'll want to double-check your entries and make sure you enter your exact federal refund dollar amount. You can get this number from your Form 1040, line 35a.
As stated by xmasbaby0, you may just need to wait a few days for the IRS system to update if you're still receiving the message.

Be aware this is a public Internet forum. You should not post any personal info here, or it could invite spammers/scammers. It looks like the forum privacy filter removed your phone number for your protection.
It can take at least 4 weeks for a paper return to show up in the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool.

FAQ: How do I track my state refund?
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/refund-status/help/how-do-i-track-my-state-refund/00/25571
I need a tracking number for my federal tax return. I entered the wrong account number and my bank said I need this number for them to look into the matter
@alicewebb There is no tracking number for a tax refund. If the IRS sends your refund to a wrong or closed account the bank will send it back to the IRS and then the IRS will mail a check to the address on your tax return
Here is what the IRS says about entering incorrect banking information

Can I have when I will receive my refund
Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "
Transmit my returns now
".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
Thank you for responding to my email. My federal taxes were approved and my refund was sent to my bank on 3/16. The problem is my bank doesn't have records of a direct deposit. My bank said I needed a tracking number. I've been calling and calling and calling the IRS with no luck. Trying to actually reach someone is impossible.
