Billing refund

TurboTax made me pay for the product and on “final review” discovered an “error”. Would not proceed until I completely deleted the state taxes paid on a 1099 distribution. If I did this my state refund was updated to me owing. I called TurboTax, they were not able to assist and my call was disconnected twice. I submitted a refund request as I was not able to print my returns and file them since my state does not allow printed returns used on tax preparation software. TurboTax is denying my refund. I called and submitted two forms online. Had to use tax act and file my returns with no issues. Is there a way to get a refund? Do better TurboTax, how are you going to charge someone and then have an “error” preventing them from continuing and deny them a refund?

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”
