Amended Return

Turbo Tax won't let me file my amended 2024 returns because my signed date is not between Jan 1, 2025 and Dec 31, 2025.  So, do I have to mail in my returns?

 

Also, there is no change to my Federal return (only to my Maryland return); Do I still have to mail in my Federal Return?

Yes. You will need to mail your 2024 amended state tax return. 

 

No. You do not need to submit a 2024 amended federal tax return if there are no changes to your original 2024 Federal Form 1040.
