amendments can easily take 20 weeks. according to the IRS dashboard, they are working on amendments submitted in March now, so hopefully it won't be that much longer. Suggest checking where is my amendment once a week,

"accepted" simply means the IRS acknowledged receipt; it does not mean it has been reviewed, processed or audited.
