Almost a year and no Refund!

LAST YEAR WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME FILING WITH TURBO TAX! IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ETIQUETTE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE RECEIVED MY REFUND APRIL 2022 AND HERE IT IS ALMOST APRIL 2023 AND ALL IM GETTING IS THAT THEY HAVE NO DIRECT WAY TO CONTACT THE VERY PEOPLE THEY USED TO SEND ME MY REFUND!! IVE EXHAUSTED ALL OF MY OPTIONS AT THIS POINT AND WHATS EVEN MORE INFURIATING IS THE FACT THAT THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE ENOUGH EMPATHY TO ATTEMPT TO REACH OUT TO FIND OUT WHATS HAPPENING TO THE MILLIONS OF TAX PAYERS DOLLARS THAT ARE BEING STOLEN! WE TRUSTED YOU TO TAKE CARE OF US TURBO TAX AND YOU'VE FAILED TERRIBLY! I NEED LEGITIMATE AND TRUTHFUL ANSWERS! NOT EXCUSES TO SHUT ME UP! AND THEN YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO ASK SOMEONE TO FILE WITH YOU AGAIN AFTER THE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT THEY'VE ALREADY ENDURED?! WE ARE ALREADY STRUGGLING TO WORK AND PROVIDE A HONEST LIVING FOR OUR FAMILIES ESPECIALLY WITH THE EXTRA HARDSHIPS THAT ARE CONSTANTLY PLAGUING OUR ECONOMY. SO EXCUSES ARE UNACCEPTABLE AT THIS POINT! WE NEED IMMEDIATE AND ACCURATE ANSWERS AS TO WHERE OUR HARD EARNED MONEY IS AND HOW TO GET IT INTO OUR HANDS!

Once you submit or mail in your return, it is then with the IRS. If you need assistance with your tax situation, Taxpayer Advocates are available to help.

I’ve already spoken to several people without success. I’ve reached out to _Turbo Tax, Civista Bank, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, as well as the IRS without any solution. I’m livid because I filed with Turbo Tax so  you’re responsible. There are supposed to be some type of protocol set in place to assist tax payers that are encountering stressful situations where they’re being shorted in their money or their money is being held completely hostage! I was also told that there wasn't a direct contact for anyone in authority to get this issue resolved. It’s been nearly an entire year and I’ve yet to get a solution or my refund! You would think that you’d at least read the reviews and the company scoring prior to handing over millions of hard earned tax payers dollars to such rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional beings!  I want and need my refund without excuses or steps that are constantly getting my family and I nowhere! It is literally robbery at this point!

TurboTax does not have information about your specific refund once your return has been Accepted, nor do we hold refunds.  This matter will need to be directed to the IRS as they are the ones who ultimately disburse the refund.  For more information on this, please see this Help Article.

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, local time

Monday-Friday

  • Listen to each menu before making the selection.
  • First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
  • Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
  • Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
  • Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
  • Then press 3 "for all other questions."
  • Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent.
