My status on the IRS website has updated to approved and when I reached out to TT in regards to why their site hasn't updated the representative said to me that the information I have must be inaccurate. Then she gave me a website to go to to screen share with her only for me to receive an error message saying you can't screen share from a mobile device and her response was oh I didn't know you were using a phone although they called me on my phone. TT nor Credit Karma has any valid or credible information and I was told by a representative point blank that you just have to wait until it comes. SMDH! I wish I could get a clear understanding of what is going on.
Where's my Refund is the most accurate information as it is directly from the IRS. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. The TurboTax site can only update if the information is provided for the software to update. This doesn't always happen so the information shown on TurboTax could be behind.
The IRS is who is issuing your refund, not TurboTax, so the IRS has the most up to date information.
Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
The IRS is not holding my refund I have an approved status which your representatives are saying they can't see for whatever reason. Also I'm using Intuit credit karma money spend account per the requirement when I filed. So this is not the irs's issue this is a lack of accountability and transparency with TurboTax. You all are playing with people's funds deliberately.
