1098-E info - wrong state

I uploaded the form 1098-E several times, I have filled out the info by myself and still the software takes the wrong states of the lender.

The state is not VA

 it should be Texas

I don't know what else I can do to fix the software. If I cannot do it, I will move to other company since I am not going to pay 100$ to talk to a representative to fix a problem that is caused by turbotax

Instead of trying to "upload" the 1098E have you tried just keying it in by hand?

This is the only information that is asking for. When I click continue, the page fill out the rest by itself automatically

That error could be coming from one of the forms you imported; you may have multiple forms listed.  Delete all the 1098-Es you have on your tax return.   Then re-enter the one 1098-E manually.   When you enter it manually, it will ask for the address - be sure to enter the correct state code.   You can't edit the state code from the review screen.   You have to go back to the form to make the changes.

Check the 2-letter state code for that zip code.   Make sure the city and state match up to the zip code.  This error happens when the state code doesn't match what is on file with the IRS.  TurboTax follows the IRS for acceptable zip codes.  If the state code does not match the correct state, you will get an e-filing error.   Correcting the state code is usually the fix.

The issue was with the 1098-T form that the state was wrong and the software was taking that address for 1098-E form
