Yes, TurboTax can help you with an amended return.  If you used TurboTax for the return you are amending, there is no charge.  If you didn't use TurboTax for the original return, then you would be charged & you would have to enter all your original information exactly like it was when you filed into the program first before you can amend.

Do NOT send in an amended return until your original tax return has been fully processed.  If you try to amend and send in a 1040X before the original return has been processed, it will create confusion and delays.

*** hot off the presses***  the IRS will start allowing amended 2019 returns to be efiled  later this month ... wait for the TT program to be ready for this change so you can avoid the 6 month processing time the paper returns are currently taking.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a 2019 tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/how-do-i-amend-a-2019-return-in-turbotax/01/123845...

The 2019 amendment instructions are not functional yet ... in early December when the online system opens the amendment option will be presented.

If you used the TurboTax online editions for the 2019 tax return you will need to download the tax data file from the online account to your computer.  You will need to install the 2019 TurboTax software on your computer to open the 2019 tax data file.

If you purchased one of the 2019 TurboTax online editions you can contact TurboTax support to have them push a 2019 desktop installation file to your download account at no charge - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/

Assuming that you are not a dependent and are Not eligible to be claimed as a dependent plus your 2020 Adjusted Gross income is within the range to be eligible for the stimulus payments -

Did you already file a 2020 tax return for the Recovery Rebate Credit for the payments you did NOT receive?

@Lackers12 You have not provided enough information.    We cannot tell if you need to file a 1040X .   Did you file a 2020 tax return already?   Has it been fully processed?  If so, when you prepared it did you use the recovery rebate section to get the 1st and/or 2nd stimulus amount?   Was there anything on line 30 of your Form 1040?

Please post back and tell us what you did on your 2020 return so we can help further.
