You can track your refund at the North Carolina Department of Revenue Refund Process page. Select Where's My Refund to get started. You'll have to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax.
The refund date doesn't include the time it takes for your bank to process a direct deposit or the time it takes for a check to arrive in the mail.
Per the North Carolina Department of Revenue, In order to view your refund status info, you'll be prompted to enter your social security number along with the exact amount of your refund. You can also call our toll-free refund inquiry line at 1-877-252-4052, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Refund checks are written weekly. If you contact our refund inquiry line and you're advised that your check hasn't been written, please wait 7 days before calling the refund inquiry line again.
As much as we would like to help, TurboTax doesn't distribute refunds, only the IRS or your state tax agency do.
