Can TurboTax handle W-2 and 1099 forms for a large business?
by TurboTax•53• Updated 2 weeks ago
You can use TurboTax Business or Quick Employer Forms to generate W-2 and 1099 forms for employees and contractors, as long as you have less than $10,000,000 (ten million) in total to report on these forms in any given year.
If your business needs to generate W-2s and/or 1099s whose totals exceed this amount, we recommend these solutions:
- Social Security Administration Business Services Online for W-2 forms — it’s free and easy to use.
- Intuit 1099 E-File Service — e-file 20 or more 1099-MISC forms for one flat fee.
To access Quick Employer Forms:
- Sign in to TurboTax Business and start or continue your return.
- Select Tax Tools from the menu, then select Employer forms.
- On the Go to Quick Employer Forms screen, select Continue.
- Quick Employer Forms will open in a new window.
