Will Credit Karma share my data with Intuit, or the other way around?
by TurboTax• Updated 2 weeks ago
As part of the Intuit platform, Credit Karma members will receive the many benefits of the Intuit platform. To help you take advantage of those benefits, your data will be included in the Intuit platform when you use one of our products or services, including Credit Karma.
Here’s what we mean by “platform” – when you choose to share data with us, we store that data together in a centralized way, not just within the individual offering(s) you’re using. This means your bookkeeping details from QuickBooks, recommendations from Credit Karma, and (in the future) campaign details from Mailchimp all live in the same place.
This goes for everything except the data you share with TurboTax – that stays in TurboTax and never goes anywhere except to the IRS without you telling us it’s okay first.
We’re constantly striving to create personalized experiences that power your prosperity in a way that’s most important to you. Keeping your data in one place like this provides a holistic understanding of your financial situation. This lets us help you find more money, save time, and have more confidence navigating your finances.
You can learn more about our platform and how we store and use your data in our privacy statement. Go to privacy statement
