I’m having issues installing TurboTax with my CD

You may notice some scuffs on your CD. For many customers, this hasn’t impacted their ability to install the software. To get started, try installing using your CD.

If you have any issues installing TurboTax due to a scuffed CD, you have a few options:

  • The fastest option is to download the product at www.installturbotax.com. Follow the prompts and use your license code that was included in your purchased box/product to get started with your taxes.
    • Downloading the software provides you with the same product that is on your CD and installs and works the same way as the CD.
  • If you’d like a replacement CD, submit your information and a new CD will be sent to you. Please have your name, email address, mailing address, and license code ready. Your new CD should arrive within 3 business days if you submit your request before 12 pm PT.
  • If you lost or can’t access your license code, contact TurboTax.
