How do I clear all my tax info in Expert Full Service and start again?
It depends on whether you’ve been matched with your expert yet or not. It also depends on whether you want to keep using TurboTax Expert Full Service, or leave to prepare and file your own taxes with expert help.
If you’ve already matched with your Full Service tax expert, you’ll need to message your expert and let them know you want to start over.
If you haven’t matched with an expert yet, follow these steps:
Select Do my own taxes and then Leave Full Service.
Follow the prompts until you reach the Let’s get to know you better screen.
Select Tax Tools and Clear & Start Over. Then select Yes and Continue.
You’ll now be able to start over. Answer the questions again, and on the How comfortable do you feel doing your own taxes? screen, select I just want a tax expert to handle everything for me and follow the prompts to get back into Full Service.
Want to leave Full Service and do your own taxes?
If you’re already matched with an expert, message them and let them know you want to leave Full Service. If you haven't matched with an expert yet, select Do my own taxes and then Leave Full Service. You'll be placed in the TurboTax product that most closely matches what you’ve told us so far about your tax situation.
