Pre-purchase questions

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that temporarily store data on your computer. If you need to delete them, follow these instructions.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept credit, debit, and pre-paid cards with VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover logos. Like most stateside online merchants, we can only process cards if they have a US billing address.

We're unable to take checks, money orders, or cash payments.

Where can I get your Canadian version?

TurboTax Canada products can be purchased at turbotax.intuit.ca, and support is available at support.turbotax.intuit.ca.

How do you calculate sales tax charges?

The sales tax is determined by the zip code of the shipping (not billing) address and includes all applicable state, county, and local taxes as required by law.

In most cases, sales tax is also levied on the shipping and handling fee as well as the product price.

Post-purchase questions

How do I access the download I purchased?

Access to downloads is unlimited up to 3 years after purchase.

For TurboTax Advantage:

  • Sign in to your Intuit Account using the same user ID you used to purchase your software.

  • Locate the Downloads tab, where your TurboTax download and license code will be listed

For retail & purchases made directly from TurboTax:

  • Sign in to your Intuit Account using the same user ID you used to purchase your software.

  • In the Products tab, locate the tile for your TurboTax Desktop product year

  • Select Licenses and Download to view your license code
