[Event] Ask the Experts: Tax Law Changes - One Big Beautiful Bill
Unfortunately, non-itemizers will still not be eligible to deduct charitable contributions in 2025.
However, starting in tax year 2026, a new and permanent deduction for up to $1,000 ($2,000 for married filing jointly filers) will be available for non itemizing tax payers for charitable contributions to qualifying organizations.
