Since you disposed of the vehicle on 1/1/22 you must also show line 5c of your Car & Truck Expenses Worksheet as a 0 as well as line 6a.
To change this in TurboTax Desktop Deluxe you can follow these steps:
- Within your tax return use the Forms icon in the upper right of the screen to switch to Forms mode
- Scroll down on the left menu and select Car & Truck Expenses Worksheet
- In the preview pane, change both lines 5c and 6a to 0 and leave line 6b blank
- Use the Step-by-Step icon in the upper right to switch back and continue entering/reviewing your returns
