If this work as a first responder was performed by you but not part of a business, then you would report the income as other income.   You would need to report this income as self-employment income only if being a first responder was something you did on a regular and continuous basis or if you held yourself out as being available to perform work of this type.  

 

To enter other income in TurboTax online, click on Wages & Income, scroll down the page to Less common income, click on the drop-down arrow and select Miscellaneous Income.  From the list, select Other reportable income and respond to the questions on the screens that follow.
