If you have a 1099 entered or started, but there is no information to report, the best thing to do is delete the $0 form.
To delete your 1099 please follow these steps:
- Within the Federal portion of your tax return in TurboTax Online go to the Income & Expenses section
- Click Edit/Add for your 1099-MISC
- Click Delete and confirm it
- Click Done to go back to your Income & Expenses
