Self employed

You should be reporting any income received (not profit) on Schedule C.  Also on Schedule C you will report all associated expenses with the jewelry sales.  You do not have to show a profit on the Schedule C in order to file it.  However, if you have several years of showing a loss on your Schedule C, IRS may deem that it is actually hobby income, not self employment income.

In TurboTax, you will enter the Self Employment section and follow the prompts to go through the entire section.  Self employment income and expenses will be on your Wages & Income menu.
