Can someone help provide any reason why my refund remain unprocessed till now? My taxes were electronically filed on 05/15/2021 and today is 10/27/2021,and any verification shows that "refund processing is pending and a refund date will be provided"..What's wrong here? I need an explanation. In desperation, I wtote to Honorable Commissioner of IRS about three weeks ago. He hasn't reacted.
There was no money owed..And if there's anything wrong, I should be told...I am of the school, we never sit mute in the face of wrong. It's doing the right thing that makes system what it should be.
In case, you know causation to this delay, help explain it to me.
The next step I will contact theTreasury Secretary if end of the year nothing is done..
