I received a 1099-NEC. It's from my second job, where I work part-time. In the middle of 2025, my employer switched me from an employee to a contract worker (not sure if that's the correct terminology).
Anyway, I received both a W-2 and a 1099-NEC from that employer. As I'm entering it, I'm being asked questions as if I own a business. (for example, under "Business address" my home address is listed) Is this typical? I don't own any business, and according to my 1099-NEC, I made about $1,800.
I just want to be sure that I'm entering this form correctly.
