First, you should verify that your purchase of the TurboTax Business Windows software from a third-party seller is valid, and compatible with TurboTax Business states, by checking that it appears online in your Intuit account:

 

  1. Go to accounts-tax.intuit.com and log in with your email / credentials that you use for TurboTax
  2. Check the box for stay logged in
  3. Select Products & Billing > TurboTax > Licenses & Download
  4. You should see TurboTax Business 2025 listed

If you cannot redeem your code online to make it appear as a software purchase in your Intuit account, you may not have made a compatible purchase, when compared to the authorized software vendor list
