I have a 1099-NEC and cash income. Why does the 1099-NEC say zero when I entered an amount?
I am self-employed and have a sole proprietorship. I get income directly from clients and also from a charter school. The charter school sends me a 1099-NEC. Even though I entered the info in the 1099-NEC area, it shows up as zero. Then, I entered my direct cash income, and it's asking me if that is my net income. Do I enter the money from the charter school there instead? I have not had this problem in the past. So confused.
Thanks to anyone who can help me!
