Report your Form 1099-MISC in TurboTax Online as follows:
- Click on Search and type in "Form 1099-MISC"
- Click on "Jump to form 1099-misc"
- Answer Yes to "Did you get a 1099-MISC?"
- Enter the information on your 1099-MISC.
How you proceed from here will depend somewhat on which box the amount received was reported in. If it is box 3, proceed as follows:
- Give a description - For example "Interest"
- Indicate "None of these apply" on the "Do one of these uncommon situations apply?"
- Indicate "No, it didn't involve work like [your] main job
- Mark "[You] got it in 2024" only
- Mark "No, it didn't involve an intent to earn money"
