Yes, you can report the 1099-MISC directly without actually entering the form. If it's rental income or royalty income you can go directly to that section of Income in TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop.
- Income and Expenses > Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E) > Continue to enter the income (and expenses if applicable)
For other types of income you can enter it directly using the steps below.
Other Miscellaneous Income:
- Sign into your TurboTax Online account
- Go to Tax Home (left panel) Wages and Income section
- Scroll to Less Common Income > Select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
- Select Other reportable Income > Enter a description (----) and the amount
