Request a Refund for State efiling which was defective

I purchased the specific product "efile state return" for $50 offered to me just prior to filing my US Return. This efile product was defective. Even though the required State Pin# was inputted correctly by me, it did not insert into the state tax document. This is a programming glitch. I tried this several times, opened the pdf, and the program did not insert it. As a result, the return was rejected by the State of Illinois. I resubmitted entering the Pin# again, and it was again rejected. I went over this process three times with my TurboTax customer service representative on a help call, and we witnessed the same results each time. There is an engineering flaw in the programming that does not transfer this number to the document, and as a result the State of Illinois will not accept an efile of the return. Hence, it was necessary for me to either print it out, fill-in the form with the Pin#, and mail it in, or input all of the state return forms directly into Illinois Tax website. I chose to input all of the forms manually into the State of Illinois' Tax website. The reason that I am requesting a refund of $50.00 is because the product that I purchased was specifically for the convenience of being able to efile the State return. Filing by mail or inputting the form into the State's website is free. This product was not executable due to the fact that your program failed to insert the Illinois Pin# that they require. Even though you have a prompt to enter it, and I filled it in correctly, it does not fill-in the required space on the form. This was verified by several attempts on my own, and three attempts with your service representative. It took me several hours to enter each of the forms on the State of Illinois' Tax webite, another hour with your customer service rep, and now, more time to fill out this form for the refund of a non-functioning product. I respectfully request a full refund of this defective product as it is justifiably due to me for a product that did not function correctly. Thank You, Nancy Caskey
