So, I found the reason why turbotax classified it as self-employed. It's because my PFML started in the end of 2023 and ended in 2024. So I checked "I got it in 2023" and "I got it in 2024" which triggered the self-employed logic. I unselected "I got it in 2023", and it goes to other income in schedule 1 8z as expected.
