I am a pastor who must transport materials to church -water, stock, tools, maintenance- when not performing ministry. Is that milage deductible?
I resupply items purchased by the church in my personal vehicle, I also have to do repairs, and meet the Landlords workers on non-ministry days. Do I record this as a commute because it is to the church then deduct it as mileage expense because it is not my function as the minister- not a religious service?
