Yes, I have been doing that for many years. However, we switched into Covered California for health insurance starting in 2024. The first premium for that was paid in 2023. I believe that amount will need to be reported in 2024 so it seems like I should not include it in 2023. If you or anyone knows that for sure, I'd love confirmation.
