If you are no longer self-employed in 2023, you'll need to delete Schedule C in you tax return. That schedule was carried over from your 2022 tax return.
To delete it, please follow these steps:
- In TurboTax, open your return
- In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
- On the Tools Center page, click on Delete a form
- A list of forms will appear. Locate Schedule C [your business] and click Delete next to it.
- On the next screen, click Delete Form
- Also delete any worksheets associated with that Schedule C.
