My husband and I received $2,400 for the first stimulus check and $1,200 for the second check. Should my daughter's have received stimulus money also. The oldest turned 21 in April 2020 and was at least half-time student claimed as our dependent on our 2019 tax return. She did fill her own tax return for 2019. The youngest turned 19 in October 2020, finished high school in May 2020 and started college full-time in fall, so was also a dependent on our 2019 tax return. She had never filled a tax return. Now for 2020 tax return, the oldest no longer qualifies as a dependent and is filling her return where it's asking if she received stimulus money, which she hasn't. Is she entitled to the first and second stimulus money? The youngest is going to fill her first tax return, and continues to be considered our dependent on our return. Will she be entitled to get stimulus money from 2020?
