That's a great question ---- The thing is this is wrong on so many levels and no one is doing anything about it. The IRS knows about it, TurboTax knows about it, even my congressman knows about it. Everyone that has this issue is saying they would never knowingly check that box.
I am going to trying reaching someone higher up in TurboTax to see if they will take responsibility for this. If not, it's time to lawyer up.
