Deceased Mother received stimulus check

My Mother who passed on 30 March 2020 received a $1200 stimulus check mid April.  She filed a 2019 tax return already.  I just read that since she was deceased before she received the check the money should be sent back to the Treasury.  What is the opinion on this particular situation.  I will have to file a 2020 tax return for her in 2021.  Doesn't the 1200 count as some kind of credit on the 2020 tax return?  Should I return the check (not a direct deposit)?  Thanks, Ryan
